Effective January 1, 2022, Jason Beck, former Chief Operating Officer, and Interim Chief Executive Officer, was named as the next President and CEO of Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

“I am very excited and thankful for this opportunity to give back to the organization, fellow teammates, and community I have served for over 25 years. I grew up in Columbus County. This is my home and I am very humbled to serve my community in this capacity. I look forward to great community partnerships and seeing what the future has in store for CRHS and Columbus County,” Jason said.

Jason has a very unique perspective when it comes to healthcare. He began his healthcare career as a  Respiratory Therapist, with a passion for caring for others and a desire to do more he found himself on a  leadership path early in his career. With a diverse healthcare background, Jason is familiar with functions across the healthcare continuum. He is best described as a servant leader with the ability to establish higher engagement, more trust, and stronger relationships with team members and other stakeholders.

“We are quite convinced that Jason has the talent, the intelligence, and the commitment to carry on the CEO  leadership so important to CRHS’ success and stability,” says Mr. Terray Suggs, CRHS Board of Trustee Chair.

Jason believes in simplicity in life and work. Take care of others, focus on the patient and act on what’s important. When these principles align, success begins to reveal itself.
