On March 22, 2019 Lisa Thomas, MSN, RN, OCN, CBE-MC, Director of Donayre Cancer Care Center, and Kelsey Lynn, RN, BSN, CBE-MC, Nurse Navigator, successfully completed the requirements to be certified as a MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiners. MammaCare is the recognized standard for teaching and performing manual breast examination. “Ms. Thomas and Ms. Lynn will make even greater contributions to women’s health, “ said Dr. H.S. Pennypacker, director of the scientific team that developed MammaCare.
