Whiteville, NC –Please join Columbus Regional in congratulating Rachel Dunbar on her promotion to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Rachel has a proven track record in operational and service-line improvements to elevate the mission of CRHS. As the COO, Rachel’s leadership will aid CRHS on its journey of daily improvement to elevate quality of care, patient safety and satisfaction, along with growth and efficiency.
A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, Rachel graduated from Norfolk State University, a HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) in Norfolk, Virginia where she received a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Exercise Science, Health, and Kinesiotherapy. She went on to receive a Master of Health Administration Degree from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Rachel first joined CRHS as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. During Rachel’s tenure she has had a progressive career path as the Interim Wound Healing Center Director, Director of Administrative Services & Special Projects and most recently held the position of Vice President, & Administrative Chief of Staff before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Rachel is also a current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
