Leland, N.C. — Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS) has broken ground on Advanced Care Leland, a new 68,000-square-foot medical office building designed to expand access to high-quality outpatient care for the rapidly growing Leland community.

The state-of-the-art facility will offer a full range of advanced services, including CT, ultrasound, Xray, MRI, primary care, orthopedics, and urology.

“With the growth happening in Leland and surrounding areas, we see the need to expand our services to meet the community’s needs,” said Jason Beck, CRHS CEO. “As a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery and Hip and Knee Replacement, we have the physicians, technology, availability, and compassion to serve this community well. Patients may not remember the technology used in their procedure, but they remember how people made them feel, and our team at Advanced Care Leland are known for just that.”

CRHS opened four clinics in Leland in 2021 and now sees more than 11,000 outpatient visits each year, underscoring the demand for expanded services.

“It’s so exciting to see our next phase of development to increase high-quality medical care in Southeastern North Carolina.,” said Dr. Roc McCarthy, Urologist with Advanced Urology.

The project team includes Thomas Construction Group as Construction Manager and LS3P as the Architect of Record, both bringing extensive healthcare expertise to ensure the successful delivery of this modern outpatient facility.

Advanced Care Leland is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
