Columbus Regional Healthcare Syste and CRHS Foundation Awards Scholarships to Area High School Graduates

Whiteville, NC – Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS) and the CRHS Foundation are proud to announce the awarding of nine (9) $1,000 scholarships to outstanding Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) students from area high schools.

Each student honored has successfully completed a second-level Health Occupation class and demonstrated a strong commitment to pursuing a career in healthcare. This year’s scholarship recipients are:

  • Whiteville High School: Allison Arp, Marley Faulk, Carrie Nicholson
  • South Columbus High School: Kaya Hamilton, Kayla Hayes, Kyashia Long
  • West Columbus High School: Ariana Britt, Abbigail Clemmons, Callie Williams

Since 1997, CRHS has supported aspiring healthcare professionals through its scholarship program, which is funded by the CRHS Foundation, the CRHS Volunteers, and the CRHS Nursing Department. The initiative reflects CRHS’s continued investment in the future of healthcare and the development of local talent.
