Whiteville, NC – It is with great excitement we announce a new day in women’s healthcare for our community. Baldwin Woods Gynecology has partnered with Columbus Regional Healthcare System and will become Baldwin Woods OB/GYN Women’s Advanced Health & Wellness as of January 2,
2023.
Current patients of this practice will still receive the personal healthcare they always have, but in a new
location, and new patients are very welcomed. Dr. Wheatley, Dr. Kindschuh, and Kay Jordan, OGNP-C will join the new office location, along with two additional OB/GYNs, Dr. Sarah Gore and Dr. Amanda LaBenne, and an additional nurse practitioner, Kayla Turner, NP-C.
After a wonderful career providing excellent care to many patients, Dr. Martyn Woleben will be retiring from Baldwin Woods Gynecology as of January 2023. All are grateful for his years of service and we will be helping patients continue care with another one of the providers during this transition. Dr. Wheatley nor Dr. Kindschuh are retiring. Both are planning to continue their respective gynecologic practices. Dr. Kindschuh will continue to deliver babies on call, but will no longer see obstetrical patients in the office.
All of the physicians, along with Dr. Gore and Dr. LaBenne, are experienced surgeons, are robotically trained, and will perform gynecologic surgery at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
This new partnership with Columbus Regional Healthcare System provides Baldwin Woods Gynecology with additional space to add more providers, which in turn creates more access for patients and less wait times. Baldwin Woods Gynecology so appreciates the privilege of caring for many patients over the past 44 years and looks forward to honoring that privilege by expanding their practice and services to all of our communities. With a continued commitment to both quality and personal care, Baldwin Woods OB/GYN looks forward to the growth of Women’s Health Services for our community and looks forward to seeing you at their new location, 221 Jefferson St.
