Columbus Regional Healthcare System today announced that its hospital, outpatient services, and Columbus Regional Health Network clinics are fully operational following Hurricane Dorian.
Columbus Regional Healthcare System, which was impacted by the storm, had no major damage. The hospital, outpatient services, and clinics resumed normal operations today, September 6th, at 9 a.m. The hospital remained open during the storm, with a fully operational emergency room.
John Young, the CEO and President of Columbus Regional Healthcare System, said, “We are all so proud of our teammates and thankful for their dedication and efforts to care for patients through this storm. Many of the teammates were facing their own uncertainties in their personal lives, but they came in and selflessly served the patients and community in need. I would also like to thank local first responders for their dedication and work to keep the community safe before, during, and after the storm.”
